(Almost) Complete List of titles

Howard Carter opens King Tut’s Tomb

This alphabetized, linked list of My Audio School content is provided for your convenience, in order to aid in lesson planning. This list is alphabetized by title rather than by author, since some of our users are more familiar with title names than author names. The top part of the list is for full length books. The bottom of the list is for additional content, such as radio theater, abridged titles, poetry selections, podcasts, children’s records, video clips, etc. This is an ALMOST complete list of titles. At this point there are so many titles on My Audio School that sometimes it is hard to keep up with them all! I try to add them to this page as we add them to the site, but there may be a few surprises on the site that didn’t make it onto this page. If you find one, please email me at support@myaudioschool.com so I can update the list.

    1. Once you have logged in, you will see the page Complete List of Titles in the left sidebar, under the search box. Click on the page and all the titles, complete with links, will appear.

  1. Thank you so much for putting these titles together. We (my three boys and my husband and I) love audio books and your site is simply a treasure trove of rich learning and entertainment. I’ll be passing this gem on to others whenever I can. What a list!

  2. Thank you so much for your list. We homeschool and our boy struggles reading. We suspect he is dyslexic and it is so helpful to be able to read along with the audiobooks. We use Old Fashioned Education as the basis of our curriculum and so far you have almost all of the books we have needed. Thank you so much.

  3. I have been searching for a few specific titles using the search feature, I never get the desired results. I have also looked through the lists. Am I doing somehing wrong?

    1. Hi Shelli,
I saw your comment, asking about searching titles. Let me see if I can help.

First, I am aware that the search by title feature is challenging. Unfortunately, the WordPress default search box is the only search tool I have found that is compatible with our membership software, so that is what we have been using. I am always looking for something better which will yield a shorter list of usable titles!!

I would recommend searching by author instead of title if you can, or only by the most important key words in the title, as it often pulls up any title with even one of your key words.

If the book you are looking for isn’t in the list of titles, it is likely that we don’t have it. That list says “almost” complete because there are probably a few titles that haven’t been added to it but it is fairly comprehensive. The price for a one year membership is less than the cost of a single professionally recorded audio book because we are only linking to public domain materials–that means the book had to be published before 1927 to be in our library, and it has to also be available as an audio book–many titles either are not public domain OR they have not yet been recorded.

Since you are a subscriber, I will be glad to check on the titles that you are looking for. If they are available as recorded public domain audios and we don’t have them I will gladly add them to the site. You can always ask for this, as we want to provide every available titles our members are looking for. You can email us at support at myaudioschool dot com

  4. Is it possible to get the textbook called American History Connecting with the past by Allan Brinkley on this site? I don’t know if it is available or not, but thought I would check. I have a teenage stepdaughter struggling with being an audio learner. Thanks so much.

    1. We only link to books that have been previously recorded and which are available in the public domain. This book appears to have gone through multiple editions, the latest of which was published in 2011. We are only able to use books that were published prior to 1923, due to copyright restrictions. I am not sure whether this book has been recorded but if it has, you could look for it at Learning Ally. They publish textbooks in audio format, but your child would need to have a documented disability such as dyslexia (documented by a Dr.) to be eligible to subscribe to Learning Ally. I am not sure of the charge–it used to be about $100 or $150 per year.
